Comtec Services Limited is seeking to recruit the full time services of a self motivated candidate to assist it in the drive and development of its in-market sales. This is a job that requires the capacity to attract business from all sectors of the local Maltese market and a good level of flexibility is needed to take the candidate from a board room meeting to a shop street level. A good command of both English and Maltese are considered a must, prior experience in sales will be considered an asset but other skills will also be consider. A clean and valid driver’s license is however mandatory. After a period of probation, the candidate will move up from a trainee to a sales person position.

 

The post includes a competitive fixed package, a commission related to sales, a company van/fuel and a mobile phone along with in-house training on a regular basis to ensure the chosen candidate is knowledgeable and well versed in all matters relevant to the industry. Job Description:

 

The successful candidate will be:

•              In possession of an AAT or A Level Accounts qualification,

•              A reasonable good knowledge in Excel (basic formulas/pivots),

•              A good command of the English language,

•              Proficient in other Computer Applications,

•              Knowledge of Shireburn Financial package will be considered an asset,

•              Meticulous and Highly Organised,

•              Ability to work under pressure.

 

Duties will include:

•              Daily posting of transactions; Sales, Purchases and General Ledger

•              Sales and Bank Reconciliations

•              Analysis and Reporting of cost items

•              Other office duties as required including filing & scanning
